During fasting, people often eat kheer or khichdi made of sabudana. But have you ever tried sabudana pulao? If you are fasting or do not eat onions, then you must consider this dish. Ingredients

Sabudana – 1 cup (soaked)

Potato – 1 (boiled)

Cashews – 5-6 (lightly roasted)

Green chilies – 2 (finely chopped)

Peanuts – half cup (roasted)

Tomato – 1 (chopped)

Cumin seeds – 1 teaspoon

Mustard seeds – half a teaspoon

Turmeric – half teaspoon

Red chili powder – half teaspoon

Lemon juice – 1 teaspoon

Coriander leaves – finely chopped.

Oil – 2 tablespoons

Salt – according to taste

Method

- First of all, soak the sago in water for about 5-6 hours. Then strain it.

- Heat oil in a pan. When it gets hot, add mustard seeds and cumin seeds to it.

- After this, you have to add green chilies. Fry it till it becomes golden. Now you have to add turmeric.

- If you are making it for fasting, then instead of red chili powder, you can add black pepper powder.

- Then add chopped tomatoes. Let them become soft. After this, add boiled potatoes and roasted peanuts.

- Fry them for about 2 minutes. Now you have to add soaked sabudana.

- Add salt on top. Cook on low flame for 5-7 minutes. Reduce the gas.

- Now, garnish the sabudana pulao with lemon juice and green coriander. Then serve.
