There is a lot of activity at the box office these days. Salman Khan's 'Sikander', Mohanlal's 'L 2 Empuraan', and Vicky Kaushal's 'Chhava' were already being released in theatres. Now two new films have also entered this race. Sunny Deol's 'Jaat' and Ajith Kumar's 'Good Bad Ugly' have been released on 10 April. How was Thursday for all these films? Let's know one by one.

'Jaat' could not start like 'Gadar 2'
Sunny Deol's 'Jaat' earned Rs 9 crore 50 lakh at the box office on its first day on Thursday. This figure may excite Sunny's fans, but this start is considered to pale in comparison to his blockbuster 'Gadar 2'. Made on a budget of Rs 100 crore, Sunny's desi style and powerful dialogues in this film are trying to pull the audience to the theatres. However, the first-day collection shows that the film will have to work harder to gain momentum. If the audience's interest increases over the weekend, then this film can move ahead on the path of recovering its cost.
'Good Bad Ugly' shows its magic.
Tamil film superstar Ajith Kumar's 'Good Bad Ugly' created a stir at the box office on the very first day. On Thursday, this film made a great collection of Rs 28.5 crore. Made with a huge budget of Rs 190 crore, this film seemed to live up to the expectations of directors and producers with its first-day performance. Ajith's style, action, and drama kept the audience engaged. If this pace continues, the film can soon recover its budget.
'Sikander's magic fades, the pace slows.
It has been 12 days since the release of Salman Khan's 'Sikander'. On Thursday, the film earned only Rs 75 lakh, after which its total collection has become Rs 107.85 crore. Fans had high expectations from this film made on a budget of Rs 200 crore, but it could neither impress the critics nor win the hearts of the audience. After an opening of 26 crores on the first day, the film's earnings saw a steady decline.
'L 2 Empuraan' is also moving at a snail's pace.
Fans were very excited about Mohanlal and Prithviraj Sukumaran's 'L 2 Empuraan' because it is a sequel to 'Lucifer', but on the 15th day i.e. Thursday, the film earned only Rs 70 lakh. Its total collection is now Rs 103.05 crore. This film made on a budget of Rs 180 crore entered the 100 crore club on the 13th day, but after that, its pace has come to a halt. Critics praised the story and characters of the film, but the response of the general audience was not that warm.

'Chhava' on the threshold of 600 crores
Vicky Kaushal's 'Chhava' is still standing at the box office. On Thursday, the 56th day, the film collected Rs 30 lakh, after which its total business has become Rs 599.85 crores. This film is now just one step away from joining the 600 crore club. In the initial days, 'Chhava' performed brilliantly and won the hearts of the audience as well as critics. However, with time its pace has now slowed down.
