Maruti Suzuki on Monday announced commencement of bookings for its latest compact sedan, the 4th generation Dzire, which is due to be launched on November 11.
Maruti Suzuki, with its next-generation, sedan promises to redefine the segment with its progressive design, advanced features, and strong value offering. Building on the legacy of its predecessor, which has over 27 lakh customers since 2008, this model is a highly anticipated one.
Customers can pre-book Maruti Suzuki Dzire at an initial price of Rs 11,000, the automobile company said.

- The exterior of the new Dzire will feature a more aggressive design compared to the current model. Updates include a larger radiator grille with horizontal chrome slats, new LED headlamps with integrated daytime running lights, and new fog lights. The sedan will also come with new alloy wheels, a redesigned rear with LED tail lights, and a shark-fin antenna.
- Inside, the 2024 Dzire will have a distinctive dashboard similar to the fourth-generation Swift.
- The car will maintain a dual-tone black and beige interior, with higher-spec models offering leather upholstery.
- A large nine-inch touchscreen infotainment system and faux-wooden dashboard trim are expected features. Additional features may include a sunroof and a 360-degree camera.
- The new Dzire is expected to ride on the same platform as the current Swift hatchback.
- It will likely be equipped with the new 1.2-litre, three-cylinder Z-Series petrol engine seen in the latest Swift, producing 80 bhp and 112 Nm of torque.
- Transmission options will include a five-speed manual and an AMT, with a CNG variant also in development, offering around 68 bhp and 101 Nm of torque.
- Maruti Suzuki is expected to price its popular model in the range of Rs 7.00-10.00 lakh, as per Carwale.
