Jaipur (Rajasthan) [India], November 12 (ANI): Two men climbed a mobile tower in Jaipur demanding a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) probe into the rape and murder of a girl in their community, said the police.
As per reports the two individuals belonging to the Meena community in Jaipur scaled the tower, demonstrating outrage over the 'Dimple Meena murder case, and have remained in the tower since 2 pm on Monday.
Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Lalit Kumar Sharma shared details of the incident on Monday and said, "Two men have climbed up the tower. We have also come to know that they have some demands for the Dimple Meena murder case. Communication with them is underway and efforts are underway to bring them down."
Visuals show the two men sitting atop the tower while State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) personnel wait for them with nets and safety equipment.
Attempts to persuade them to come down from the tower are still ongoing. Further details on the matter are awaited. (ANI)
