Gandhinagar (Gujarat) [India], November 8 (ANI): Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel visited the Akshardham Temple in Gandhinagar on Thursday.
He received the darshan of Param Pujya Mahant Swami Maharaj, the respected guru of B.A.P.S. Swaminarayan Sanstha.
On the occasion of the New Year, the Chief Minister performed the anointment of Neelkanth Varni and admired the temple, beautifully adorned with thousands of lamps and a Glow garden.
Gujarat's Chief Minister visited the newly constructed 'Neelkanth Vatika' within the temple grounds, where he offered his respects at the 49-foot Panchdhatu idol of Kishore Yogi Neelkanth Varni.
Later, Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel shared his experience with thousands of devotees gathered in the grand assembly hall behind the Akshardham Hari Mandir, in the presence of Mahant Swami Maharaj. (ANI)
