Spider-Man & The Punisher To Team-Up & Fight Savage Hulk In 'Spider-Man: Brand New Day'?

After the release of the upcoming The Fantastic Four: First Steps, Marvel Studios’ next big screen release will be a year later in the highly anticipated and one of their biggest films — Spider-Man: Brand New Day.

Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton of Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings (2021) fame, Spider-Man: Brand New Day is the fourth film in MCU’s Spider-Man franchise and overall the 38th film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

While not much is known about the plot of Spider-Man: Brand New Day, it has been officially confirmed that while Tom Holland will return as Spider-Man, he will be joined by Jon Bernthal as The Punisher.

The film will also feature Stranger Things fame Sadie Sink and The Bear’s Liza Colón-Zayas.

Now, social media is buzzing with a new unconfirmed rumour as per a social media influencer and Marvel insider Daniel Richtman that the film will feature a massive showdown between Spider-Man and The Punisher teaming up to take down Savage Hulk.

It’s basically going to be Spider-Man and The Punisher vs Savage Hulk.

For those unaware, Savage Hulk is a way stronger version of The Incredible Hulk whom we have seen so far in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Reacting to the post, one fan wrote, “Okay. I have a theory. Jackal was hinted in Homecoming (Ms.Warren) So what if it continues the debut story of Punisher, where he was hired by Jackal to kill Spider Man?”

So they have Spiderman work with Punisher to fight Hulk, they also have whoever Sadie Sink is, they also have an Asian actor who is most definitely Mr. Negative, then a female villain, then another villain, then another 2 or 3 guys, this shit is sounding like Spider-Man 3 again

While The Fantastic Four: First Steps releases in theatres on July 25, 2025, Spider-Man: Brand New Day will be out in theatres on July 31, 2026.
