What are the jobs available in SSC CHSL 2025?
This recruitment will fill 3,131 positions in central government offices. Appointments will be made for positions such as Lower Division Clerk (LDC), Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA), Postal Assistant/Sorting Assistant, and Data Entry Operator (DEO). These jobs are for 12th-grade pass candidates and offer a salary, benefits, and a pension, along with the security of a government job.
How to book a slot?
Login: Visit the SSC website, ssc.gov.in, and log in with your registration number and password.
My Application: Go to the My Application section on the dashboard.
Select a slot: Click on Choose City, Exam Date & Shift.
City and Date: The available cities, dates, and shifts will be displayed from the three cities you selected when filling out the form. Select your preference.
OTP Verification: Verify with the OTP received on your registered mobile number or email.
Confirm: After selecting a slot, double-check that the city, date, and shift are correct.
Submit: Upon submitting, a message will appear on the screen: "Your Slot Selection is Successfully Completed."

Special Rules for Slot Booking
3 City Options: You can select dates and shifts available in the three cities you selected.
Regional Language: If you have chosen to take the exam in Hindi or another regional language, the shifts and dates may be reduced.
If Slots Are Full: If slots are full in the three cities you selected, SSC will offer another city, but you will not be able to choose a date or shift.
No Change: Once you have selected a slot, there is no possibility of changing it later. Choose your slot wisely.
Important by October 28th: If you do not select a slot between October 22nd and 28th, SSC will assume you will not be required to take the exam.
SSC CHSL Exam Pattern: What will happen in Tier 1?
SSC CHSL Tier 1 is an online CBT consisting of 100 multiple-choice questions. Each question carries 2 marks. This means the total paper is 200 marks. There will be negative marking, with 0.5 marks deducted for each wrong answer. The exam will be conducted for 60 minutes, while candidates with disabilities will receive 80 minutes.

General Intelligence (Reasoning): 25 questions (50 marks)
