Uttar Pradesh State Bridge Corporation Limited (UPSBC) has started the application process for recruitment to 57 posts of Assistant Engineer. Where are how many vacancies?

According to the notification issued, appointments will be made on a total of 57 posts, out of which 50 posts are reserved for civil engineers and 7 posts for mechanical engineers.

What should be the qualification?

Candidates applying for these posts should have BE/B.Tech degree from a recognized university. In Civil Engineering for Civil post and in Mechanical Engineering for Mechanical post.

Age limit

The minimum age of the candidate should be 21 years and maximum 40 years. At the same time, candidates of SC/ST/OBC category of UP will get 5 years relaxation in the maximum age limit. Disabled candidates will get 15 years relaxation and ex-servicemen will get 3 years relaxation along with the benefit of the period of service in the army.

Selection will be done without examination, GATE score is necessary

The most special thing about this recruitment is that there will be no written examination. Candidates will be selected on the basis of GATE 2025 score. That is, the youth who have participated in GATE 2025 (in civil or mechanical subject) and have got a valid score can apply in this recruitment.

The merit list will be prepared on the basis of GATE marks and accordingly the shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification.
