There is very good news for the candidates who are preparing for government jobs or police recruitment after graduation. Notification for recruitment to the post of Sub Inspector in Police has been issued. The application process for these posts will start on 7th April and will continue till 3rd May. This recruitment has been issued by the Tamil Nadu Uniformed Services Recruitment Board (TNUSRB). Application has to be made by visiting the official website.
Interested candidates can apply for Police SI posts on or before the prescribed last date. Applications have been sought for recruitment to a total of 1299 posts of SI. Some of the posts include 933 posts of Sub-Inspector of Police (Taluk) and 366 posts of Sub-Inspector of Police (AR). After applying, candidates can also make corrections in their application form till 13th May.
Who can apply?
Candidates applying for Police Sub Inspector posts should have a graduation degree in any stream from any recognized university. At the same time, the age of the applicant should be between 20 to 30 years on 1 July 2025.
Application fee
Open category or departmental quota candidates will have to pay an application fee of Rs 500. On the other hand, if a departmental candidate applies for both open and departmental quota, then he will have to pay an application fee of Rs 1000. The fee can be deposited through online mode.

How will the selection be done?
Applicants for Police SI posts will be selected through Tamil Language Eligibility Test, Main Examination, Physical Efficiency Test, and Interview. A total of 100 questions of 100 marks will be asked in the Tamil language eligibility test and the exam time will be 100 minutes. The successful candidates will appear in the main examination.
