More than 29 lakh youth from all over the country have applied for the SSC Selection Post Phase-13. The exam will be held from July 24 to August 1, and admit cards will be issued soon.
Staff Selection Commission (SSC) Phase-13 Selection Post Recruitment 2025 is witnessing tremendous enthusiasm of youth from all over the country. The commission has received a total of 29,40,175 applications for this recruitment. Let us tell you that this recruitment is being done for Group 'B' (non-gazetted) and Group 'C' (non-technical) posts in the ministries and departments of the Central Government.
This time 10,22,154 candidates have applied for the posts with graduation and above qualification, 7,08,401 for 12th pass, and 12,09,620 candidates have applied for the posts with 10th pass. The commission is going to conduct this examination from 24 July to 1 August 2025. The exam will be held on 24, 25, 26, 28, 29, 30, 31 July and 1 August.
Which posts are included?
SSC had invited applications for a total of 2423 posts in this phase. Out of these, 1169 posts are unreserved, while 314 posts are reserved for Scheduled Castes, 148 posts for Scheduled Tribes, 561 posts for Other Backward Classes and 231 posts for Economically Weaker Sections (EWS). However, the number of posts may change till the final selection list is released.
Eligibility and Application Process
Applications were sought from candidates between the age of 18 to 42 years for this recruitment from 2 June to 23 June 2025. The commission had also given a special window between 28 and 30 June to correct any kind of mistake in the application.
Strictness will be there in the selection process
The commission has made it clear that the documents will not be checked at the time of submission of application and computer based examination. Only the documents of the shortlisted candidates will be checked. If the claim made by any candidate is found to be wrong in the verification, then his candidature will be canceled immediately.
Exam city released, admit card soon
SSC has uploaded the exam city information of the candidates appearing in the exam on the website (ssc.gov.in). Admit cards will be issued 4 days before the exam. That is, those whose exam is on 24th July will get the admit card by 20th or 21st July. Admit cards will be deposited at the examination center, so all the candidates have been advised to keep an extra copy with them.
