Brits could be facing balmy , as temperatures are set to be warmer than Portugal.
Parts of the UK will face warm in an blast, while flooding is possible in other areas as a yellow weather warning for heavy rain continues. The is forecasting highs of 20 to 21C in the south, around 5C warmer than average for this time of year, with 13 to 18C forecast for most across the country.
A yellow warning for rain is in place until midday on Wednesday, stretching from Plymouth as far north as , covering parts of the northwest and southwest England, Wales and the West Midlands. But for those lucky enough to stay dry today, it's set to be significantly warmer than recent days.

With the UK set to reach highs of 21C, it means the weather here will be warmer than in Lisbon, Portugal. According to the Met Office forecast, Lisbon is facing highs of 20C today, on par with Dover and London. However the Portuguese capital is also facing a 90 to 95 per cent chance of heavy thunderstorms.
The Met Office has forecast a "milder but more unsettled" week for the UK, with "the chance of heavy rain and strong winds at times." Today, the forecaster said along with the above average temperatures, we can also expect outbreaks of heavy rain.
"Outbreaks of rain will affect northern and western parts through the day," the Met Office said of Wednesday. "The rain will be heavy at times, leading to some localised disruption. Drier towards the east and southeast of England in particular. Feeling warm here in any sunshine."
This evening Brits can expect "outbreaks of heavy rain" that will "continue to move northeastward though the night", with "southern and western areas becoming dry by the end of the night" and "another mild night for many." Looking to Thursday. the forecaster said: "Early rain clearing the northeast of the UK, then a brighter day is expected tomorrow with a mixture of sunny spells and a scattering of showers."
Across the weekend, the Met Office forecast: "Outbreaks of rain and brisk winds across northwestern areas on Friday, drier and brighter further southeast. The rain moving eastwards through Sunday, brighter skies following. Widely wet and windy Sunday."
