Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce is keen to prove he's still a top-tier player after three consecutive underwhelming performances. He kicked off Sunday's game against the Los Angeles Chargers with an impressive 38-yard catch.
For the second week in a row, his pop superstar girlfriend Taylor Swift was absent from his game. She had previously attended their first two games, witnessing victories over the Baltimore Ravens and Cincinnati Bengals, but missed their Week 3 triumph against the Atlanta Falcons.
Despite the Chiefs' winning streak at the start of the season, Kelce has struggled to make his usual impact on the team's high-performing offensive unit. The tight end has only managed eight catches for 69 yards so far this season.

Fans have started questioning whether Kelce's career is winding down, as the tight end's agility seems to have slipped in their first three games. However, he wasted no time proving a point with a strong start to the game against the Chargers.
The 34-year-old made his presence felt early in Week 4, swiftly breaking free from the Chargers linebackers for a significant 38-yard gain.
However, Kansas City failed to score on that drive, with Mahomes later throwing an interception while aiming for Kelce on the subsequent drive - the ball flew over his head and was intercepted by Kristian Fulton.
The Chargers took an early lead against the Chiefs, who entered the game as one of five teams with a flawless 3-0 record - and are aiming for a 4-0 victory if they can turn things around in Los Angeles.
It's now clear why Swift didn't make the journey to Los Angeles to watch Kelce play, after she opted not to be in Atlanta for their win over the Falcons last week. Instead, Swift spent last weekend in New York with Gigi Hadid.
Over the past month, the pair have spent a significant amount of time together, following her return from the European leg of her global Eras tour - which she will resume next month in North America.
