Autumn has officially arrived, and across the UK, leaves are starting to transform into a vibrant array of colours.

The country's beauty spots will soon be ablaze with hues of ruby red, deep yellow, and glowing orange, offering breathtaking views for those eager to experience the first taste of fall.

Photography experts at ParrotPrint.com have curated a list of seven must-visit locations to admire the autumn foliage. These include stunning parks, valleys, villages, and fells, each offering a unique display of autumnal colours.

One such location is Castle Combe, a charming Cotswold village that offers picturesque views year-round and is particularly beautiful during the change of seasons, reports the Express.

In Wales, dams and reservoirs reflect the striking autumn colours over expansive watery vistas. Meanwhile, The Lake District offers hiking trails, quaint villages, and cosy pub fires, while further north in Scotland, high hills and deep glens blaze with autumn golds.

According to the experts, the best time to capture these colours and take fantastic photos is between mid-October and mid-November.

A spokesperson for ParrotPrint.com explained: "Depending on how long the summer sunshine stays around for, the colours begin to change and leaves start falling from the end of September.

"With summer coming to an end Sunday, September 22, the best time for guaranteed colours and fantastic photos is between mid-October and mid-November."

Regarded as one of the most picturesque villages in the UK, this charming corner of England located on the southern fringe of the Cotswolds is a delight to explore during Autumn. Beyond the quintessential village, you'll discover stunning tree-lined roads meandering through the countryside, ablaze with bronze and gold hues from mid-October.

As one of London's eight Royal parks and easily reachable from the city via public transport, Richmond Park offers extensive walks through ancient woods, over undulating hills and across vast grasslands teeming with wildlife.
