Revealing she was rushed to hospital because of her symptoms, she continued: "The doctor sent me to A&E on Friday night and they ended up giving me some nebulisers to help me breathe, so that helped."

Admitting she was on the "verge of tears" having been in hospital until the early hours of the morning, the Over The Rainbow star said she "just wanted to get home". While conceding she was "still struggling a bit" on Saturday night, Stephanie assured fans she was ok, saying: "I'm ok, I'm fine, I've just been a bit stressed, I think."

Later on Saturday night, the mum-of-one said she wouldn't have gone to A&E if she wasn't pregnant. Stephanie concluded that she had to go into hospital because of her shortness of breath and swollen joints, but said she was, thankfully, "all cosy at home" as she recovers.

The Celebrity Big Brother star revealed she was pregnant with a baby boy in August, following a "rollercoaster" few months, which included a tragic miscarriage.

In a chat with , alongside her partner Joe McKalroy, the actress expressed her joy about the new addition to their family, which also includes Stephanie's seven-year old son, Caben, whose father is Irish model, Jeremy O'Connell.

The journey to pregnancy hasn't been easy for Stephanie, who tragically suffered a miscarriage in May 2022. The Corrie star and Joe, 27, first crossed paths during a group therapy session in 2021 and Stephanie confessed that the couple have been on a challenging journey since.

She said: "After my previous miscarriage, I thought, 'God's going to be good to us, it'll be plain sailing.' But that's not how life works. It's been... a roller coaster." Despite undergoing fertility tests and trying for a baby for two years, Stephanie fell pregnant naturally. "I did the test at my mother-in-law's. I could not believe it. I've done a million tests over the past two years and videoed them the one time I didn't, it was positive."

However, she encountered another setback when blood tests showed that her HCG (pregnancy hormone) levels were dangerously low and not increasing as expected. She recalled: "The doctor said he believed I was having another miscarriage or an ectopic pregnancy. But I wasn't having it, I had this strong gut feeling that it was all going to be OK."
