Lauryn Goodman hits back at critics of controversial KW necklace and fumes 'get over it'

Kyle and Lauryn’s affair, which began before the footballer married his childhood sweetheart and resumed after they had tied the knot, has hit the headlines in recent months after the 34-year-old sportsman finally admitted to the illicit relationship.

During an episode of her new podcast Yours Sincerely, Lauryn revealed that the necklace was given to her by her sister Chloe Goodman, and she doesn’t understand the negativity over her wearing the piece of jewellery. “People need to get over my necklace. They really need to get over it. I’ve had it on since Kairo was born in 2020,” she began.

“Like, well done that you’ve managed to match my childrens’ initials with their dad’s. Are you over it yet? Because I’ve been over it since I’ve worn it. The thing is for me, I don’t see it like that. The more that people comment about it - it will literally enlarge if they carry on,” Lauryn fired.

She pleaded with online trolls to “get over it”, and demanded that they stop sending her abusive messages over the necklace. “Just in case they are listening, I don’t care. It’s my childrens’ initials and, who knows, they might one day just enlarge to p**s you off even more,” Lauryn fumed, as she insisted there was no link to the necklace and her former lover Kyle.

The affair began in 2019, and ended after just a few months, but Lauryn fell pregnant with their first child, son Kairo, who was born in April 2020. They then reunited in 2022 and resumed their affair, with Kyle fathering Lauryn’s second child, a daughter, who was born in August last year. Her name was kept secret until the former couple’s explosive courtroom battle earlier this year, and Lauryn finally revealed she was called Kinara, and would have the same initials as her big brother.

Kyle is also father to four children with his wife Annie, and their youngest child, baby Rezon, was born months after Lauryn exposed her affair with Kyle to Annie in messages sent over . Their sons Roman, 11, Riaan, seven, and Reign, five, were spotted at the Euros over the summer supporting their dad from the stands in England kits emblazoned with their surname on the back. However, Lauryn has faced harsh criticism for putting her own kids in the same kits with the name Walker on the back, as fans questioned why she would give her children the same surname as their father.
