Following the match at Ipswich, Arsenal will face Crystal Palace in midweek before hosting Paris Saint-Germain at the end of the month. Arteta is dealing with a few injury concerns within his squad ahead of those fixtures.
The Gunners will be without Jorginho, Riccardo Calafiori, Thomas Partey, Kai Havertz, Gabriel Magalhaes, Takehiro Tomiyasu and Gabriel Jesus.
"Jorgi is not going to be available yet. Ricci as well is not going to be ready," Arteta said on Friday when asked for an update. "If everything goes well, I think so, maybe a bit earlier. He's [Calafiori] on the pitch already."
Partey meanwhile, sparked fitness concerns in Madrid earlier this week after being forced off against Brentford.
Although Arteta will not be welcoming any of his players back this weekend, there is hope some of them could be available for the first leg against PSG.
"I think that's too close, but if I had to bet on him [Havertz] earlier than expected, I would say yes," he said. "The way he's pushing in the gym, you cannot hold him much longer."
Long-term absentee Magalhaes, is set to undergo surgery on his hamstring while Jesus suffered an anterior cruciate ligament injury in his left-knee last month. The Brazilian and Tomiyasu will miss the remainder of the season.
Looking ahead to the Champions League semi-final, Declan Rice, and walked a suspension tightrope for the last-four.
However, Partey, who has accumulated three yellow cards in the Champions League this season, will serve a one-match ban and miss the first-leg clash against the French champions.
Rice, along with others who avoided suspension, can now breathe a sigh of relief. By reaching the semi-finals, all previously accumulated yellow cards have been wiped.
That means bookings from earlier rounds will no longer carry over, and even receiving a yellow in both legs of the semi-final won’t result in a ban for the final.
