Eamonn Holmes' girlfriend refers to him in very intense way after just three months

Eamonn Holmes appears to have found love again following his shock split from wife Ruth Langsford, diving into a fresh relationship.

Ruth and Eamonn, who were both presenters on This Morning, went public with their separation back in May. However, Eamonn, 64, didn't take long to find romance again and has been romantically linked with Katie Alexander, 42. Things between the pair seem to be serious, and they even recently took off on a romantic Mediterranean cruise to bask in some late summer sun together.

GB News presenter Eamonn appears to be fully investing in his blossoming relationship, as he and his partner Katie are believed to be set to move in together. And it seems that he and marriage counsellor Katie are completely comfortable around one another, as Katie's nickname for Eamonn has been unveiled as she continues to be 'completely smitten'.

"Katie is telling everyone that she's totally smitten and in love. They've known each other for nine years, so this isn't a fly-by-night relationship - she's in it for the long haul. They're now looking at places to move in together, as they want a lot more space," a source told Heat magazine.

The insider added that the pair are also reportedly toying with the idea of packing up and moving out of London to relocate to Eamonn's native Belfast. Katie is reportedly also certain that Eamonn is her 'soulmate' and she's ready 'to love and care for him' given his chronic health woes. "Eamonn is her man, and she's there to look after him," the source added.

Meanwhile, Loose Women star Ruth, also 64, has reportedly been left stunned by Eamonn new love interest. Earlier this month, a source said: "She's just trying to get on with life and be around good friends, she's partying through the pain and is trying to get through it. Ruth is distracting herself and doing things that make her happy keeping busy and being around friends, family and work is the only way she can get through it."

It comes after Ruth apparently managed to exact revenge on her estranged husband Eamonn after he asked if he could pop by their former marital home to collect holiday clothes before his cruise with Katie.

Eamonn had planned the seven night Mediterranean cruise with his new girlfriend, who is 22 years his junior, but needed to gather a few outfits. After agreeing, Ruth reportedly omitted that she had removed the £2,000 stairlift, making it difficult for the wheelchair bound presenter to climb the curved staircase at his former £3.5million home in Weybridge, Surrey.

At the time, Ruth was not at the property but a source told the Daily Mail: "Ruth has remained quiet and classy. Even when ­people bring up what Eamonn has been up to, she stays silent and just smiles. She thinks that is the best way. She has had a lot of support from her friends. But one thing she would see every day was the stairlift which Eamonn installed. "

They added: "Ruth doesn't need it. She's super-fit and healthy but she knew Eamonn probably would struggle when he had to go the house to get some bits he needed for the holiday. The bedrooms are upstairs and he needed to get to them. It might seem petty but Ruth's friends think it is absolutely hilarious as they think he has really taken her for a ride."
