Celebrity Gogglebox cast break down in tears in heartbreaking Channel 4 scenes

The Celebrity Gogglebox stars were all left sobbing during tonight's Stand Up To Cancer special over a heart wrenching story.

The much-loved show made a return to our TV screens on Friday (October 25) for a special episode for Stand Up To Cancer and viewers were greeted with a fresh roster of famous faces lounging on the sofa.

The charity initiative, in partnership with Cancer Research UK, recruits TV favourites and celebrities for special episodes aimed at raising funds and awareness.

Tonight viewers saw the likes of Frank Skinner, Miriam Margolyes and Kristin Scott Thomas all sat down to share their thoughts on the week's best, worst, and most bizarre shows, all from the comfort of their sofas.

However things took an emotional turn as the celebrities watched a heart wrenching story about a father called Glen who discovered that he had stage four cancer after suffering a nasty injury.

Glen revealed that it had spread to his blood and can now appear anywhere in his body and six months post diagnosis he was informed that he now has terminal cancer.

The father of two detailed the heart breaking moment he decided that he wanted to be buried at a cemetery near his children's school so they can visit him whenever they want. It was later revealed that he passed away at the age of 45.

The story left the whole Gogglebox cast and they couldn’t contain their emotions as they were all brought to tears.

Viewers also went straight to social media to share their reaction to the heartbreaking moment. One viewer shared on X, formally known as : “That's broke me life is so cruel #Gogglebox #CelebrityGogglebox”

Another said: “Usually it's the kid videos that break me. But Glenn's story was brutal; he had it all taken from him so fast. Calling it cruel doesn't do it justice #CelebrityGogglebox.”
