Welsh singing sensation Charlotte Church has signed up for the ’s upcoming starry version of - despite previously claiming she no longer wanted to make money off the back of her celebrity status. The voice of an angel star is set to join comic , chat show host , rugby ace Joe Marler, breakfast star and funnyman for filming this spring in the Scottish Highlands, according to an insider.
The six celebrities are said to be “nailed on” for the series. One source said: “There will be a huge mix of personalities - and ego sizes. Seeing how it all works out is going to be fascinating. The team making the show are expecting it to be quite different to the regular version because the celebrities will be less motivated by the prize fund but care far more about how they come across.
"It will be really interesting to see how the gameplay compares, along with which tactics they employ. Hopefully one thing that will remain the same is that it will be a lot of fun to watch.”

, 39, was last month described as having gone “full Earth Mother” after opening a healing retreat in the Welsh valleys two years ago. She and second husband Jonathan Powell bought Rhydoldog, the former idyllic home of designer Laura Ashley, back in 2021 and opened it as wellness centre, The Dreaming, in 2023.
In March she told an interviewer that she knew she wanted to buy the property, located in Powys, as soon as she set eyes on it. “I also didn’t want to have to make a living from showbusiness any longer,” she explained. “I wanted to make art and music, but not be reliant on celebrity; to live more in line with my values.”
But one reason the mother-of three may have accepted the role in Celebrity Traitors is that she has yet to make a profit on the venture, into which she sank her life saving despite admitting she “couldn’t afford” it. "I was going to have to put myself in a really precarious position,” she said. “I’ve taken a lot of financial risk. Friends and family said I was mental. We’re not breaking even yet here. But I fell in love, and that was it.”
The mum-of-three has told how she felt “sexualised, patronised and ridiculed” as a young woman, having been thrust into the limelight after selling millions of classical albums. “I was out there, in a toxic culture and environment,” she said. "I have had to rehabilitate my little creative self. I think I was really exploited. My artistry and talent wasn’t taken seriously. It’s taken some time to remember that I am an artist; to refind my own creativity.”

These days she finds much solace in nature. “In the morning, I’ll come up here and sing to the land,” she explained. “It’s a dialogue to connect with nature, but your own emotions too.”
Other famous faces rumoured to be taking part in Celebrity Traitors, to air on in the autumn, include TV quizmaster turned author Richard Osman, sports presenter , and comedy star Jennifer Saunders. TV legend is also a likely contender, along with singer Paloma Faith and Olympian Tom Daley.
The reported in February how comedy actress and her brother Charlie had , again to be hosted by, citing problems with child-care.
We also revealed in September how Bob - who recently won Amazon Prime's hilarious series Last One Laughing - had , describing it as "the only show of its kind on TV that I would agree to get involved with".
A BBC spokesman said that it would be "foolhardy for any Faithful to speculate before the game has begun" because of the "lies and deception” involved. The celebrity version is due to be filmed ahead of the next regular series, which will air in January 2026,
