Greater Noida: Panic ensued in a residential society at Gaur City 1, Greater Noida, after a cobra was spotted in the vicinity, prompting an immediate response from the society’s security team. The snake was seen near Tower C, in the park-side area, causing alarm among the residents.Shortly after the sighting, a notice was issued by the society’s management, advising residents to remain vigilant. “ “Dear residents, we would like to bring to your notice that a snake is found roaming around tower C, parkside area today.”The society’s maintenance office further cautioned residents to be “careful” while roaming around the park side: “We would request all the residents to be careful while roaming to the park side area. Especially brief your kids to be very careful.” The notice that was circulated among the residents further reads, “We have safely captured the snake and handed over to the forest department team,” as reported by News 18.

The security team acted swiftly, risking their lives to safely capture the cobra in a closed enclosure. After securing the snake, it was handed over to the city’s forest department, which will oversee its release back into the wild. Photos of the rescued cobra were shared on social media, showing cobra rescued by the security team in a blue-coloured bin. The caption posted alongside the photos reads, “Cobra snake found in the Central Park of 4th Avenue Society, Gaur City 1. Security personnel risked their lives to catch the snake.”In another recent incident, a surprising and alarming incident occurred at a Noida university, when a snake entered a classroom during an ongoing lecture. The video of the incident went viral in which the snake, a "nagaraj," was seen coming out of the air conditioner duct, catching students off guard.
