TikTok sensation Kubra Aykut has died aged 26 after falling from the fifth floor of an apartment building in Turkey.
The internet star was reportedly found dead in Istanbul's Sultanbeyli district last Monday. Authorities are investigating the case.
Kubra had gained fame across the world after her wedding without a groom video went viral. The tragic news comes after the star, who had over one million followers on the social media platform and a further 220,000 on Instagram, had shared a post that concerned fans recently.
Hours before the tragedy, Kubra wrote on her page: "I've gathered my energy, but I can't seem to gain weight. I lose a kilogram every day. I don't know what to do; I urgently need to gain weight.'
In her famous TikTok clip that saw her gain fame, she was seen holding an elaborate wedding without having a partner. In the clip, she donned a white dress and a tiara before saying: "I cannot find a worthy groom for myself." She is seen dancing and smiling at the event as she clapped along to music.
It's reported Kubra will be buried at a funeral in her hometown of Bursa and it's expected social media stars, friends and loved ones will be in attendance.
Following news of her death, fans took to social media to share messages of condolence.
